Here is our "finished" jack-o-lantern!

Well... I apologize for being a little behind with this whole blog thing. At first, I could access the blog from school so I was pretty good about updating it during my planning period. Well now the office of technology has blocked "blogger" at school so I can pull up the blog but it doesn't allow me to change or make new posts. UUUGGGHHH!!!! :( So I guess I'll do my best to try and update it from home. It's a lot more work this way because I have all of my info. at school (spelling words, objectives, important dates, etc...) I will at least try and keep some recent photos updated for sure since all that other important info. goes home each week on the weekly newsletter. I know you enjoy seeing pictures of your children and what goes on at school.

WOW!!! We have only been in school for about 2 months and have already had our THIRD compliment party!!! This class has broken a record in my room! They chose to have a "brownie" party today and there weren't ANY crumbs left when they got finished! :) We are now working towards a popscicle party!

We have learned about nouns this week. Ask your child to sing the noun song. We have also learned what the letter "a" says when it is followed by an "l". Ask your child what "sh" and "th" say. Remember to go over those "amazing words" with your child and be practicing the 1st nine weeks high frequency words list in your child's homework folder. We will take a test on these words next week. Ask your child about main idea, details, characters, and setting of a story.
