This is my 14th year teaching. I graduated from Troy State with a K-6 Collaborative Education Degree in 2000. I grew up in Andalusia, AL and went back to teach at the school I grew up in, Straughn. I taught first grade there for 5 years before moving to Wetumpka. There I taught 6th grade one year. I will just say that I am thankful to have had the 6th grade experience...but don't want to do it again! :) First grade is my joy!!! I am so thankful to have found CES! This will be my 8th year teaching first grade at Coosada Elementary and I've loved every minute of it! I look forward to many more years here!
During my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends, shopping (of course), exercising, and just being at home. I love watching children grow and learn...it's TRULY the most rewarding feeling ever!
